my husband Harry was diagnosed with bower cancer in March 2023. He’s had one operation and is currently undergoing chemotherapy for secondary cancer. Harry is under the palliative care team, his type of cancer is rare and there is no current treatment. I am aiming to get moving throughout January to raise funds for bowel cancer and research.
Each year, over 42,000 people in the UK are diagnosed with bowel cancer. That's why I'm supporting Bowel Research UK in January by taking on Challenge 42. Bowel Research UK are the UK’s leading specialist bowel cancer and bowel disease research charity and our research is saving and improving lives. I'll be covering 42 miles by 31st January to raise money for vital life-changing research into bowel cancer and bowel disease.
