This summer an intrepid group of 15 riders take part in The European Wanderers’ ‘Road to Ventoux’ charity bike ride, a  640km (400-mile), 50 hour (five-day) bike ride from Perpignan to Marseille with the aim of raising a combined minimum total of £10,000 for 3 different charities. (Mind, Bowel and Cancer Research and the Alzheimers Society).  My chosen charity for the ride is Bowel Research UK.

Starting from Perpignan on the Mediterranean,  the route takes us through some of the most amazing countryside, whilst the fourth day of the ride takes us to the Beast of Provence, Mont Ventoux. Most riders will climb it one way via the Gorges de la Nesque, whilst a few of us “mad ones” will climb Ventoux, three times in one day!

Donating to Bowel Research UK through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to Bowel Research and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - the team raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So, whilst I do the "hard work",  if you can please dig deep and sponsor me today!

Many thanks for your support,

Gareth

PS: Please don't forget to accept Gift Aid in the declaration, if you are a UK tax payer.
