As many of you may know, 5 years ago, my son Kit was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease. nThe care that he receives and the medication that has been made available to him has been phenomenal. nKit’s consultant once said to him that it was Kit’s job to go and enjoy life and his (the consultants) job to worry about his Crohn’s - these words really resonated with me and as you can imagine were quite emotional to hear. nI’m running the London marathon for ‘Bowel Research UK’ who is funding life-changing research into bowel cancer and other bowel diseases, their research is saving and improving lives.n I feel that this is my chance to give something back to the amazing people behind the treatments that are giving Kit and others like him, the opportunity to keep fit and well! I’m hoping that you can support me in this massive challenge I have set myself and give huge thanks for any donations which will be gratefully received. nn
