On April 2nd I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in support of Bowel Research UK in memory of my Uncle.
In April 2021 my uncle was sadly diagnosed with Stage 4 Bowel Cancer and tragically he recently lost his battle. Saul was so strong, and we will forever be proud of his determination throughout. It has been very tough for Saul and the family, which is why raising awareness for bowel cancer is just so important to us, and to many others affected.
Bowel Cancer is the fourth most common cancer in the UK and the second biggest cancer killer. Sadly, 1 in 15 men and 1 in 18 women will be diagnosed with bowel cancer during their lifetime.
